Personal Flat bread Pizzas
So it's a Tuesday night and I have to run kids to dance class and T-ball practice plus my hubby is at work today and then COACHING the T-ball team! What to make for a healthy dinner on a night like that??? Personal Flatbread Pizzas! Everyone can choose their own toppings and they will be done on the grill in 2-4 minutes! Plus the kids can help too!
Preparation Time: About 15 minutes
Cook Time: 2-4 Minutes on the grill
Number of Servings: 4
4 - Whole Grain Flat Out Brand Flat bread
1 - 12 oz can/jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce
1/2 cup - spinach
1 2/3 - cup mozzarella cheese
1/4 - cup shredded parmesan cheese
1/4 - cup fat free feta cheese
16 slices - canadian bacon
Pam cooking spray
Preheat your grill at a medium heat.
Spray one side of Flat bread with Pam cooking spray
Flip the flat bread over so the side with cooking spray is face down on a cutting board
Spread 3 oz of your favorite spaghetti sauce evenly on flat bread leaving 1/4" around the edges
Place about an 1/8 cup of spinach leaves on top of the sauce (I hide them here so they are under the cheese and the kids can't see them right away :)
Sprinkle 1/3 cup Mozzarella cheese on top evenly
Sprinkle a fourth of the Shredded Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of the Mozzarella
Sprinkle a fourth of the Fat Free Feta Cheese evenly
Cut up 4 slices of Canadian bacon into fourths and heat them in a skillet over medium heat
Once they are heated place them on top of your cheeses evenly
Bring the cutting board with your pizza on it out to a grill and use a spatula to help slide it off onto the grill. Cook for 2-4 minutes. 2 minutes is a softer crust while 4 minutes brings a crunchy crust.
I use a spatula to help slide the pizza right back on the cutting board and then you cut it on the board and it serves as a plate too!
Whaaa Laaaa! Perfect Personal Flat bread Pizzas! Repeat for each family member and you are eating in 20 minutes!
WARNING!!! The first time I made these I burnt them to a crisp! When it says grill for 2-4 minutes....it really means grill for 2-4 minutes! We went OUT to pizza that night!
I'd LOVE to hear how YOU made these and how everyone liked them! Let me know!
